CuriosityStream, the over-the-top documentary service launched by Discovery founder John Hendricks, has named Clint Stinchcomb president and CEO. He was chief distribution officer.

ARRIS

Arris has elevated Ian Whiting to president of its enterprise networks unit, responsible for Ruckus Networks (formerly Ruckus Wireless). He had been chief commercial officer of Ruckus.

NESN

Art Ventura has joined New England Sports Network as local sales manager. Ventura had held media sales leadership roles at 120 Sports, Madison Square Garden, Fox Television Stations and Disney/ABC National Television Sales.

CADENT

Eoin Townsend has joined Cadent as chief product officer. He comes from multiscreen ad company Collective, where he led product technology and marketing teams in support of the company’s programmatic ad offering.

Peter Knag was named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Turner. He had been VP of AT&T merger planning, leading financial planning and analysis for the integration of the telco and Turner parent Time Warner.
