Piven Pins Hosting Role On WWE Monday Night Raw

Jeremy Piven will be joining the WWE entourage on Monday night.

Piven, whose three-time Emmy-winning turn as the uber agent Ari Gold drives HBO's Hollywood buddy series Entourage, will be the celebrity guest host on USA Network's presentation of WWE's Monday Night Raw live from the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on Aug. 3 at 9 p.m. (ET).
This past Monday, NBA All-Star Shaquille O'Neal hosted Raw, which pinned 5.77 million viewers, including 2.7 million persons 25 to 54, 2.55 million of the18-to-49 set and 1.18 million 18-to-34 watchers, according to Nielsen Media Research. The appearance by the Big Grappler helped make Raw the No. 1 program in all of television among males 18 to 34 on July 27, according to USA officials.

Piven, whose theatrical The Goods: Live Hard. Sell Hard. from Paramount Vantage will hit theaters Aug. 14, will "manage" all of the WWE Superstars and Divas on Aug. 3.
In addition to Shaq and Piven, Monday Night Raw has featured actor/writer Seth Green and rockers ZZ Top in similar roles.
