'Pretty Little Liars’ Finale Draws 2.3 Million Viewers

ABC Family’s drama series Pretty Little Liars was a social media hit as it drew 2.3 million TV viewers in its summer finale Tuesday night.

The finale’s 2.3 million viewers was the second biggest telecast of the season, but was down from the 3.3 million viewers the show generated in its summer finale last year, according to Nielsen. The show also averaged 1.3 million adults 18-49.

On the social media front, a Twitter TV audience of 4.7 million people saw over 890,000 tweets about the season five finale, the second biggest audience since the show’s summer premiere, said network officials. Pretty Little Liars is also the top followed scripted shows on Instagram with over 1.1 million followers, according to ABC Family.
