Programmers Pick Up Motorola Gear

Motorola Inc. said The Vision Channel has installed its 'PurePixel'
processing-equipped 'DigiCipher II' video-compression encoders at its Fort Mill,
S.C., uplink facility.

The move will allow Vision to deliver its family-oriented programming as it
completes an analog-to-digital conversion.

Motorola also said GoodLife TV Network will use its 'DSR-4402X'
digital-satellite receiver for its conversion from analog to digital.

The DSR-4402X features dual audio support for applications such as
descriptive-video service and secondary-audio programming, a DVB-ASI (Digital
Video Broadcasting-Asynchronous Serial Interface) output and a DVB mode of
operation.
