Products On Demand Channel Inc. will make Q Television Network programming available to 107 stations under terms of a deal announced Wednesday.
Beginning June 1, programming from the gay- and lesbian-targeted network will be available to 16 million potential viewers for two hours per day.
The two shows that will be available in their entirety are Q signature series Q on the Move and In Foqus.
Q is already available to RCN Corp. subscribers in Boston, New York and San Francisco.
“We have an obligation to the G/L community outside of the RCN area, and now our potential subscribers can view what they have only been able to hear about,” Q CEO Frank Olsen said in a prepared statement. “We are confident that we will be available indefinitely in all towns very soon.”
