NBC U Lets Affiliates Do 'Dew’ VOD for Free

New York — To support the Dew Action Sports Tour, NBC Universal Cable is supplying cable operators with free video-on- demand programming and broadband clips.

NBC Universal Cable officials said participating affiliates such as Comcast Corp. will receive one to two hours of free VOD programming per month, as well as three to five broadband clips. In addition, NBC Universal Cable is supplying operators with cross-channel spots, print and online materials, tickets and on-site presence at tour stops.

NBC and cable cousin USA Network will air 32 hours of tour programming this year, highlighting skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motorcross action from five tour stops.

Noggin Helps Mark A Decade of 'Blue’

New YorkNoggin will help celebrate the 10th anniversary of Blue’s Clues with themed activities at Club Noggin in General Growth Properties malls nationwide during July.

The preschool network kicked off an on-air salute. A series marathon July 4 leads into the August anniversary, highlighted by the premiere of one-hour movie Meet Blue’s Baby Brother on Nickelodeon on Aug. 6 (8 p.m.), and the following day on Nick Jr. (10 a.m.) and Noggin (2 p.m.).
