Rainbow Ups Dore, Greenberg

Cablevision Systems Corp.’s Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. programming arm
Wednesday gave Kathleen Dore and Andrea Greenberg key operating and
affiliate-sales responsibilities following last month’s executive purge over
alleged accounting improprieties at Rainbow’s AMC unit.

Dore, president of Rainbow’s IFC Cos., has the new title of
entertainment-services president, with operating responsibility for AMC and WE:
Women’s Entertainment, in addition to The Independent Film Channel and IFC

Greenberg, president of Rainbow Sports Networks, was named distribution
president, adding oversight of combined affiliate-sales and marketing efforts
for AMC, Fuse, IFC and WE.

Both report to Rainbow CEO Joshua Sapan.

The June 18 firings of 14 executives claimed AMC president Kate McEnroe; the
general managers of both AMC and WE; and executives in various finance,
marketing and other roles.

Dore was expected to play an enhanced role, especially as Bravo, which had
been under her purview, was sold to NBC. But the busy Greenberg’s rise surprised
some observers.
