Rainbow Media Holdings Inc.'s networks said they'll team up in April 2003 on
their first joint programming effort.
Under the initiative, called 'Women + Film,' WE: Women's Entertainment,
American Movie Classics, Bravo and The Independent Film Channel will run
programming that highlights the role women have played in the movies.
Rainbow will pitch cross-network packages to advertisers, it said.
As part of the campaign, AMC will dedicate two weekends to movies 'starring
iconic leading ladies.' IFC will run a series of 'Chick Flicks.' Bravo will
showcase leading women on Inside the Actors Studio and Bravo
Profiles. And WE will run 'Cinematherapy Week: Women and the
