Ratner Upped at Rainbow

Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. Wednesday announced the appointment of Hank
Ratner to vice chairman, effective immediately.

In his new role, Ratner will act as the key strategist and transactional
officer for the company, while maintaining his management responsibilities.

He will continue to report to Rainbow president and CEO Josh Sapan.

Ratner has spent 14 years at Rainbow, most recently as chief operating
officer.

'Hank has been instrumental in formulating and implementing the strategic
direction of Rainbow,' said James Dolan, president and CEO of Rainbow parent
Cablevision Systems Corp. 'His thoughtful judgment and insight have played an
important role in the company's growth.'

As vice chairman, Ratner's responsibilities will include: overseeing the
requirements of the Rainbow Media Group tracking stock and building shareholder
value; managing Rainbow's existing partnerships, including the company's
alliances with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., Fox and NBC; cultivating new
relationships; identifying transactional opportunities; and overseeing deal
negotiation.

He will continue to direct Rainbow's corporate divisions, while working in
partnership with Sapan on the strategic direction and management of the company,
and with Rainbow's executive team to continue to grow the company's
networks.
