Raven Sets Disney Ratings Marks

Last Friday's premiere of That's So Raven proved to be the
highest-rated original-series debut in Disney Channel history, relative to a
number of measurements,

The show bowed Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. with a 3.0 household rating within Disney's
universe, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

Raven also averaged more households (2.38 million) and total viewers (3.4
million) than any Disney original-series premiere, according to network
officials.

Featuring former The Cosby Show child star Raven Symone, the program
also set network original-series records among kids six through 11 (an 8.4
rating, 1.52 million of those watchers), girls six through 11 (12.0, 1.03
million), tweens nine through 14 (8.1, 1.54 million) and girls nine through 14
(11.5, 1.07 million)

Disney executives also said Raven beat all basic-cable competition
Jan. 17 among households, kids six through 11, girls six through 11, tweens nine
through 14 and girls nine through 14 in the 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. time
slot.
