Reagan Services Postpone SHVIA Vote

The House Judiciary Committee Monday canceled all votes scheduled for this week -- including one that would extend the Satellite Home Viewer Improvement Act of 1999 for another five years -- in response to funeral services for former President Ronald Reagan.

Reagan, who served in the White House from 1981-89, died June 5 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 93.

Reagan’s body will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda all day Thursday before burial Friday in California.
