VH1 said it set network ratings records Sunday night when 10.2 million viewers tuned in to its "Celebreality" programming block.
The network said Hogan Knows Best debuted with a network record 1.9 Nielsen Media Research 18-49 rating, followed by The Surreal Life 5 with a 1.5 and Celebrity Fit Club 2 with a 1.4.
The debut of Hogan Knows Best, starring World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. icon Hulk Hogan and his family, was the No. 1 telecast in the 18-49 demographic for the night and broke VH1 records, making it the highest-rated series premiere in VH1 history and the highest-rated regular-episode telecast.
“The numbers confirm what we've seen for a while: Our audience is really connecting with our brand strategy of celebrating the music and pop-culture figures we all love so much," VH1 senior vice president of programming strategy Ben Zurier said in a prepared statement.
