'Real World's 25th Anniversary Rolls Into Vegas

The Real World will celebrate its silver anniversary in Sin City.
The 25th iteration of MTV's pioneering reality show will debut in first quarter 2011, following a 12th season turn in Las Vegas during 2002-03.
In the upcoming season, seven strangers will occupy a high roller's suite, which will be converted into a party loft, in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Last season, The Real World: New Orleans averaged nearly 2 million viewers, 25% amelioration from its previous campaign in Washington D.C.
The Real World: New Orleans, which aired Wednesdays in the 10 p.m. time slot, ranked as cable's top program in that hour among the network's broad 12-to-34 demo.
"As The Real World starts production on its 25th season, we are excited to bring the series back to Las Vegas - a city that MTV's viewers love," said creator and executive producer Jon Murray in announcing the edition. "Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is a fantasy destination and will undoubtedly serve as the eighth roommate and we can't wait to see what Sin City has in store during this monumental season."
"We are very excited to partner with MTV and their hit reality show series The Real World for the 25th season in Las Vegas," said Joseph Magliarditi, president and CEO of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. "We recently completed our $750 million expansion, which includes the addition of SKYBAR, Reliquary Spa and a luxury suite tower. We look forward to hosting the new cast."
