Galavisión posted the largest total-day audience in its history during the fourth quarter of 2004, parent company Univision Communications Inc. said Tuesday.
Univision said Galavisión outdelivered all other 15 measured Spanish-language cable networks combined in total day by 23% and 25% among Hispanic adults 18-49 and 18-34, respectively, and it was the No. 1 cable network in any language among Hispanic adults 18-34 during primetime.
“By any measure, the fourth quarter of 2004 was outstanding for Galavisión," Galavisión senior vice president and general manager Joanne Lynch said in a prepared statement.
“As we begin the new year, our focus remains on widening the appeal of our existing programming by offering exclusive news and entertainment specials, as well as the most popular soccer tournaments, to our dedicated audience,” she added.
