New York— The Reed TV Group has bolstered its sales staff with the addition of Christine Hammersley as regional sales manager, according to group publisher Chuck Bolkcom.
Based in Los Angeles, Hammersley will report to publishing director Larry Dunn. She will target cable networks headquartered on the West Coast for Multichannel News and Broadcasting & Cable magazines.
Hammersley graduated from the Walter Cronkite school of Telecommunications and Journalism at Arizona State University and started her career in television on the production side. She has worked for The Fred Silverman Co., Rebel Heart Productions and Dave Bell Associates.
She moved from production into sales at television rep firm HRP and spent the last five years at MTV Networks in television ad sales, working with major clients as a sales planner.
