Reelz Channel Dials Up Verizon V Cast Carriage Deal

ReelzChannel will offer movie-themed video content to Verizon V Cast
mobile phone subscribers as part of a deal between the two parties
announced Tuesday.

Reelz  will offer movie reviews and videos of films available to watch on VOD through a Verizon Video app that can be downloaded from the Verizon Marketplace, said network officials. Video clips currently available include reviews of VOD movies Friends With Benefits -- including interviews with stars Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis -- and Cowboys And Aliens, along with interviews from stars Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde.

"We know our viewers are voracious consumers of movies and movie information so it's only fitting TV About Movies adapts to the latest technology platforms connecting people to movies and Verizon V CAST is the perfect extension,"  John deGarmo, ReelzChannel senior vice president of sales and distribution said in a statement. "Whether it's via apps on phones, smart TV apps or unforeseen future technologies, Reelz will be there to tell people about today's movies."
