Reelz Channel has named Rob Swartz Senior Vice President of Development and Current Programming.
Swartz joins Reelz from his previous position as President of production company Venn Media, where he was responsible for developing programming for networks and digital distribution. Prior to joining Venn Media, Swartz served as Vice President of Original Series for Cartoon Network. He has additional executive experience with SyFy, as well as industry experience at NBC Entertainment, Walt Disney/Touchstone Television, and MXG.
In his new role at Reelz, Swartz will lead the development team and oversee production of the network’s newly-announced original programming slate.
