Reelz Upgrades Ad System

ReelzChannel has selected VCI Solutions' Orion Business System to manage back-office operations, which the companies said will provide real-time ad inventory to ensure "the maximum revenue for every spot sold, as well significant branding opportunities through secondary events."

In addition, the Orion system supports real-time integration with InVision's DealMaker Sales Proposal System, which allows all data entered into either of the two systems to be synchronized.

"As we have grown, we found it imperative to partner with a traffic provider that would be able to grow with us, by affording us more capabilities and opportunities in managing our back-office operational workflow," Reelz senior vice president of ad sales Amy Wayne said in a statement.

Reelz, owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, launched in 2006 and is distributed to 46 million homes via deals with Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, DirecTV, Dish Network and others.
