FX has elevated Lance Reiss to vice president of marketing.
In his new post, Reiss has oversight for media planning, vendor negotiations, online content distribution and day-to-day responsibility of the network’s marketing budget. Moreover, he will manage FX’s relationship with media-buying agency Mediastorm.
Reiss had been serving as FX’s director of marketing and advertising. Prior to joining FX in 2002 as manager of affiliate marketing, he worked as a marketing manager for DirecTV.
“Lance is such a trusted and talented colleague,” said FX senior vice president of marketing Sally Daws in a statement. “He is a tremendous asset to our marketing team and continues to find new and innovative ways to reach viewers. We’re thrilled with his well-deserved promotion.”
