CNN Headline News, which will introduce a revamped on-air look Aug. 6, has
signed a deal with Bank of America.
B of A will be the first advertiser to tap the Internetlike sponsorships that
will be available under the new format, according to Cable News Network
president of sales and marketing Larry Goodman.
For the first time, sponsors will be able to have their name and logo
embedded in the bottom part of the screen, alongside Headline's sports, weather
and 'Marketwatch' updates.
