Revolt TV’s only CEO Keith Clinkscales is leaving the company, according to company officials.
Clinkscales, who has served as CEO since the network’s founding in 2013, has helped the Sean “Diddy” Combs founded music service reach more than 50 million young adults through television, digital properties and online. Revolt COO Derek Ferguson will act as CEO in the interim, according to company officials.
Revolt launched in October 2013 as one of four new minority-owned networks supported by Comcast as part of the Federal Communications Commission’s conditions for its 2010 acquisition of NBCUniversal.
Prior to Revolt Clinkscales had served as senior vice president of ESPN Enterprises and head of content development. He also served as chairman of Vanguarde Media and CEO at urban targeted Vibe magazine.
