Rigas Won't Moderate NCTA Panel
The pressures of dealing with auditors and late financial statements have
apparently forced beleaguered Adelphia Communications Corp. chief financial
officer Tim Rigas to drop plans to moderate a May 6 finance panel at the
National Show.
According to the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, Comcast
Corp. vice chairman Julian Brodsky will replace Rigas in moderating 'Dollars
& Sense: Wall Street Looks at Cable.'
At press time, Adelphia senior vice president of operations Ann Montgomery
was still scheduled to moderate a May 7 panel.
However, according to one source, Montgomery recently tore her anterior
cruciate ligament, which could prevent her from heading the
session.
