Road Runner Turns Up Audible

Road Runner cable-modem customers will be able to sign up and tune into
Internet audio thanks to a distribution deal struck with Audible Inc.

The Wayne, N.J.-based provider of audio books and magazines struck a
marketing deal with AOL Time Warner Inc. to hawk its Audible.com (www.audible.com) service to Road Runner
customers.

To lure them in, Audible will offer subscribers a free one-year subscription
to its daily New York Times Audio Digest.

Audible offers a 34,000-hour library of audio literature ranging from books
to periodicals including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and
National Public Radio.
