Rockwell Enhances Cisco VoIP Call-Center Gear


Rockwell FirstPoint Contact Corp. said Thursday that its “FirstPoint Enterprise” product tied in with Cisco Systems Inc.’s “CallManager” is now available.

The call-center and contact-center solutions vendor said combining the two products offers “the most comprehensive voice-over-Internet-protocol call-center solution currently available.”

“Combining Rockwell FirstPoint Contact’s renowned knowledge of automatic call distributors and computer-telephony integration with Cisco CallManager enables organizations to make a seamless transition to a feature-rich IP solution that maintains the reliability and extensive capabilities of a TDM-based [time-division multiplexing] contact center,” Rockwell chief technology officer Roger Sumner said in a prepared statement.
