Rogers Quits Primedia

Primedia Inc. CEO Tom Rogers resigned after butting heads with the board
during his contract-renewal talks.

"Despite differences with the board over what should be the next chapter for
Primedia, I will look back on the last chapter with great pride," said Rogers, a
former NBC Cable president.

Primedia publishes magazines and supplies some video-on-demand content to
Comcast Corp.

Its stock rocketed above $30 per share when Rogers joined in 2000. But it
fell steadily after that, dipping below $1 last year.

Primedia stock closed at $2.85 Thursday, up 5 cents.
