Rome: Engineering Ratings for History

The History Channel’s two-hour special, Rome: Engineering an Empire, became its most-watched event of the year when it debuted Monday.

Rome drew 3 million viewers and posted a 2.4 Nielsen Media Research household rating, the network said.

The special also drew 1.5 million impressions among adults 25-54 and 1.3 million in the 18-49 group.
