Cebridge Connections, the St. Louis-based MSO headed by industry veteran Jerald Kent, said it has hired former Altrio Communications Inc. CEO David Rozzelle as its new executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Rozzelle replaces former COO William Shreffler, who resigned last year to pursue other opportunities.
“Dave is the right person for the job,” said Kent, who will continue as Cebridge chairman and CEO, in a prepared statement. “He has a solid track record in this industry at the helm of organizations -- like Cebridge -- that are in the midst of rapid expansion.”
Rozzelle helped to found Altrio -- an overbuilder that provides voice, video and data service to customers in the Los Angeles market -- in 2000, and he sold it in 2004. He will relocate from Pasadena, Calif., his current home, to St. Louis.
Cebridge has about 500,000 cable subscribers, mostly in secondary markets across the country.
