Scientific-Atlanta Inc.’s new "WebSTAR DPX2203" cable modem will enable operators to offer Voice-over-Internet-protocol telephony and high-speed data through one device, the company said Thursday.
The DPX2203 includes an embedded media-terminal adapter, and the modem is PacketCable 1.0-certified.
S-A is demonstrating the DPX2203 at its booth at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which runs through Sunday.
