Scientific-Atlanta Inc. completed the integration of Keen Personal Media Inc.
and Metabyte Networks Inc. into its 'Explorer 8000' interactive digital
set-top.

Time Warner Cable is now testing the 8000 in the field in preparation for a
launch later this year.

Keen is providing its 'TV4me' digital-video recorder, as well as its advanced
program-search and personalization applications.

The personal-video-recording application runs on Metabyte's 'MbTV 2.1' PVR
software, which includes program scheduling and recording, hard-disk storage
management, time- and space-conflict resolutions and user-request
management.
