Scientific-Atlanta Inc. has appointed Julian Eidson chief financial officer, taking over the duties of Wally Haislip, who has been promoted to senior vice president of finance and operations.
Eidson, a 30-year veteran of the company, had been VP, controller and principal accounting officer. S-A said Steve Boyd will fill Eidson's former position.
The company also announced that Ward Dickson has been named VP, worldwide financial operations, and that Conrad Wredberg was retiring. Wredberg had been executive VP of international markets.
And S-A said its "WebStar DPC2100" cable modem received Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification 2.0-certification approval from Cable Television Laboratories Inc.
