Cable operators have started the decade with a new slate of marketing challenges, ranging from reinvigorating digital penetration and pay-per-view to launching new video-on-demand and interactive services.
The Digital Case Study competition, sponsored by the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing, Multichannel News
and In Demand L.L.C., recognizes those systems, content providers and suppliers that have done an exemplary job of successfully getting the message across to consumers about cable's emerging technologies and services.
The case study presentations are real-life examples of what works in the field and also provide a template of successful marketing ideas for industry leaders to implement in their own markets.
The competition is divided into three categories: digital marketing, PPV/VOD and operations and services. Within each category, an award is presented to one cable operator and one supplier.
An overview of the six first-place winners is presented below. These case studies will be presented this week at the CTAM Digital Conference in Los Angeles.
