SBCA Board Taps Kozlowski

The Satellite Broadcasting & Communications Association said Tuesday that
Sirius Satellite Radio vice president of retail marketing Stan Kozlowski will
represent his company on the SBCA board of directors.

Kozlowski was chairman of the SBCA until last December, when he worked for
the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative.

According to the NRTC, Kozlowski resigned from his SBCA post in protest over
an SBCA vote to endorse the merger between EchoStar Communications Corp. and
Hughes Electronics Corp.

Kozlowski also left the NRTC in December and resurfaced in early January at
Sirius.

A longtime supporter of the satellite industry, Kozlowski was instrumental in
launching RCA-branded DirecTV Inc. direct-broadcast satellite systems at retail
in 1994.

'Stan is a proven leader in the consumer satellite-services industry and of
the SBCA,' SBCA president Andy Wright said in a press release. 'We are fortunate
to have Stan once again sharing with us his expansive knowledge of both the
association and the businesses we represent.'

Sirius and competitor XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. recently joined the
SBCA.
