Sci Fi Taps O'Brien

Nora O'Brien has joined Sci Fi Channel as director of original scripted
programming.

Reporting to vice president of scripted development Erik Storey, O'Brien --
who comes to the network from Trilogy Entertainment Group Inc. -- will oversee
original episodic, longform development and current scripted programming for the
network.

Additionally, she will interface with SciFi.com (www.scifi.com ) on
programming ideas and initiatives.

"Nora and I had worked together for years at Trilogy Entertainment," senior
VP of original programming Mark Stern said in a prepared statement. "I'm
thrilled to have her over at Sci Fi. Nora has a depth of experience in both
development and production, which is going to be a real asset in her new
capacity at the network."

At Trilogy, O'Brien was VP of television, overseeing current programming and
development on such series as The Outer Limits, Poltergeist: The
Legacy
and Breaking News.
