Scripps Networks saw its revenue increase 25% in July, up to $66 million, officials said Thursday.
Scripps Networks, the most profitable division of the E.W. Scripps Co., enjoyed a 25% gain in ad revenue and a 26% rise in affiliate fees in July, the parent company reported. The cable unit includes Home & Garden Television, Food Network, Do It Yourself Network, Fine Living and Great American Country.
For competitive reason, E.W. Scripps said it is not reporting monthly revenue from its online comparison-shopping subsidiary, Shopzilla. The company will report revenue for Shopzilla, which Scripps acquired in June, on a quarterly basis.
