Scripps Nets Score Sub Gains


Chicago -- Do It Yourself and Fine Living, part of the Scripps Networks'
stable, added 7 million and 14 million subscribers, respectively, over the past
12 months.

Scripps officials said that pushes their respective totals to 17.5 million
and 16 million.

The gains, according to network officials, followed launches for DIY in all
of the top 50 DMAs, while Fine Living has been rolled out in 30 of the leading
50 markets.
