E.W. Scripps Co. said Tuesday that it expects ad revenues to grow 23%-28% in the second half of the year at its cable networks, AP reported.
The media company made the projections at an investor conference sponsored by the Newspaper Association of America.
Excluding a one-time adjustment to its year-ago cable-network revenues, Scripps said it expects affiliate fees from cable and satellite providers to grow 16%-18% in the second half of 2005 compared with the same period in 2004, according to AP.
Scripps Networks’ cable services include Home & Garden Television, Food Network, Do It Yourself, Fine Living and Great American Country.
