Scripps Networks launched its newest broadband channel, DIY Woodworking (www.diynetwork.com/diy/woodworking).

The site features complete episodes of programs that have previously aired on DIY Network, with two new installments debuting each week and staying accessible for two weeks at a time.

“We know the woodworking affinity group is large and passionate, but we also know that even with DIY Network's distribution rapidly growing -- currently more than 36.5 million households -- not everyone who would like to connect with our content has the opportunity to do so," DIY senior vice president and general manager Kathleen Finch said in a prepared statement.

"The DIY Woodworking channel will be an opportunity for us to introduce do-it-yourselfers, particularly woodworkers, to what our on-air channel has to offer, as well as to the depth of information, ideas, inspiration and projects on our Web site (www.DIYnetwork.com)," she added.
