More than a dozen companies are scheduled to again showcase products and solutions aimed at augmenting cable operators' bottom lines and improving subscriber experiences in the Green and Networked Home Pavilions at the upcoming SCTE Cable-Tec Expo.
During the Oct. 20-22 conference in New Orleans, exhibitors at the Green Pavilion, introduced at the 2009 SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, will demonstrate solutions that address a variety of sustainability-related needs, including: alternative and renewable powering; backup powering; power efficiency; power reduction; recycling and recovery; and travel reduction.
The Networked Home Pavilion will include a display of gateway and interactive products that will enable operators to significantly enhance the consumer experience.
Exhibitors in the Green Pavilion are scheduled to include: 4CableTV; Alpha Technologies, Inc.; Aurora Networks; Cisco; Colt Recycling; CommScope; Electronic Recycling & Trading; Eltek Valere; ROUSH; and Safecom Ltd. Networked Home Pavilion exhibitors include: Advanced Digital Broadcast; Alcatel-Lucent; Hitachi; NDS; SMC Networks; Tellabs; and Vidiom Systems.
