EGT Inc. reached a deal whereby SeaChange International Inc. will resell its encoder line.
The EGT digital-video encoders will be incorporated into SeaChange’s “Axiom Recording Service” content-capture system and “QuickSilver Input Workstations.”
EGT said the sophisticated algorithms and advanced preprocessing techniques will help operators to encode video-on-demand and advertising content.
The QuickSilver platform transforms ads into digital assets for insertion on linear TV channels or VOD programs. The Axiom platform automates the process, capturing content, generating metadata and propagating assets.
