Lifetime said it’ll run the season finale of its hit Army Wives series on Sunday, Aug. 26.
The program, the most popular series in the 23-year history of Lifetime, has averaged 3.6 million viewers per episode during its premiere season. It also ranked No. 1 among all cable dramas for the women 18 to 34 demographic.
Lifetime said that during the season finale, Michael (Brian McNamara) “believes that the post is under a terrorist threat. After putting the post on high alert, Michael orders the remaining troops, including Frank, Trevor and Chase, to deploy immediately. With their loved ones now off the post, Roland, Pamela, Denise, Roxy and Claudia Joy commiserate at the Hump Bar looking for solace, but soon find their lives may be in jeopardy.”
