Second Semester for AMC’s Movies 101

AMC will bring back original movie talk show Movies 101 for a second season, the network said Wednesday.

Based on a course taught by New York University Professor Richard Brown, Movies 101 features interviews with Hollywood talent.

Eight half-hour episodes of the series’ second season will debut beginning in April, AMC said.

Movies 101 takes our viewers on a weekly cinematic adventure as Professor Brown interviews a lineup of diverse and always intriguing A-list Hollywood personalities,” AMC executive vice president of programming and production Rob Sorcher said in a prepared statement.

“We are excited to have Movies 101 return to AMC for a second season, further cementing our commitment to providing viewers with informed and entertaining original programming that celebrates movie culture,” he added.
