SES Delivers Retro TV

SES Americom-New Skies signed a multiyear agreement to deliver Retro TV, a multicast channel with a lineup of more than 60 classic TV shows, to broadcast TV station affiliates across the country.

As part of the agreement, Retro TV is using two transponders of capacity on SES's -3 satellite for nationwide distribution.

Retro TV, which initiated service in July 2005, has distribution agreements with 104 broadcast TV stations across the country. The Little Rock, Ark.-based network, whose programming lineup includes Leave It to Beaver, Emergency, Marcus Welby M.D., Kojak,McHale's Navy and The Rockford Files, claims it is available in nearly 85% of U.S. households.
