outperforming such Hollywood blockbusters as Jurassic Park III and The
Fast and the Furious, according to In Demand L.L.C.
Twentieth Century Fox's Shallow Hal, starring Jack Black and Gwyneth
Paltrow, finished as the third-highest revenue-generating PPV movie in the past
three years, behind The Sixth Sense and What Women Want, In Demand
Executives said the movie's short 30-day PPV window aided its performance.
Most PPV movies average 60- to 90-day windows.
Universal Studios' American Pie 2, Warner Bros.' Training Day
and Universal titles Jurassic Park III and The Fast and the
Furious rounded out the top five PPV movies for the year.
