NFL Network announced that Sterling Sharpe and Spero Dedes will team up to broadcast two National Football League preseason games this month: Arizona Cardinals vs. New England Patriots (Saturday, Aug. 19 at 8 p.m.) and Houston Texans vs. Denver Broncos (Sunday, Aug. 27 at 8 p.m.).
“We’ve assembled a top-notch team in Sharpe and Dedes to provide our preseason broadcasts with a fresh voice,” NFL Network CEO Steve Bornstein said.
Sharpe is a five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver and has been an analyst for the network since its November 2003 debut. He has also worked for ESPN and will join NFL Total Access as an analyst this season.
Dedes has done play-by-play for NFL on Fox games, as well as college football and basketball on Yankees Entertainment & Sports Network. He currently serves as the radio voice for the National Basketball Association’s Los Angeles Lakers.
