Shock & Awe: ESPN Hires Schilling As MLB Analyst

Curt Schilling, former pitching great and World Series MVP, has joined ESPN as a baseball analyst.

Schilling was scheduled to join the starting rotation Sunday night (April 4) for the iconic opening day matchup between the Boston Red Sox -- one of Schilling's former clubs -- and the New York Yankees.

Schilling retired in 2009 with 216 career wins and a 3.46 earned run average.
