Showtime and For Your Entertainment want you to "Live the L Word Life."
The network and the retailer of music and video products are holding a sweepstakes to promote the newly released DVD of the first season of hit Showtime series The L Word.
Grand Prize winners will stay at Los Angeles’ W Hotel, which will be featured in the show's second season, scheduled to premiere on Showtime in February.
F.Y.E. stores will promote the DVD, the sweepstakes and the show’s second season with promotional materials in more than 750 stores nationwide, including counter and tower signage, as well as with spots on its “F.Y.E. Listening and Viewing Stations.” Showtime and The L Word will also have a significant presence on fye.com (www.fye.com).
“The partnership with a mainstream retailer like F.Y.E. emphasizes the show's broad appeal and will raise awareness for the second-season launch," Showtime executive vice president of creative and marketing Len Fogge said in a prepared statement.
