Showtime said Thursday that it will air three documentaries that tackle controversial civil-rights clashes and social-justice issues.
The three films will air under the network’s “SHO Exposure” banner.
Same Sex America examines the conflict over same-sex marriage and the backlash from the White House.
After Innocence looks at the difficulties faced by five exonerated men attempting to rebuild their lives after years of prison life.
And Rikers High tells the stories of teen-agers in New York’s Rikers Island prison struggling against poverty and violence.
All three documentaries will air during 2005.
