Showtime Launches Summer Campaign

Showtime Networks Inc. said Wednesday that it plans to launch a
consumer-acquisition campaign June 1.

New subscribers to the premium service will be eligible to receive a free
barbeque grill and six pints of ice cream.

To comply, new subscribers must send a bill for their first two months of
service from a participating digital-cable company.

Showtime plans to promote the 'Summer's Here' offer through direct mail,
including some targeted to African-American and Hispanic
audiences.
