Showtime’s ‘House of Lies’ to End After Five Seasons

Final episode to air June 12

Showtime has cancelled its comedy series House Of Lies after five seasons, the network said Tuesday.

The network will air the series' finale -- which was shot in Havana, Cuba -- on June 12, said network officials. The series, executively produced by Matthew Carnahan, stars Don Cheadle (Miles Ahead), Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), Ben Schwartz (Parks & Recreation), Josh Lawson (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues), Donis Leonard Jr. (Criminal Minds), and Glynn Turman (In Treatment.)

“House Of Lies is a comedy that has frequently been ahead of the curve,” says Showtime president and CEO David Nevins in a statement. “Matthew Carnahan and Don Cheadle have been dream partners and impeccable leaders. They have brought the series to an incredibly satisfying conclusion with this historic final episode shot in Cuba.”
