Showtime Networks Inc. announced Tuesday that it is teaming up with Toys R Us
Inc. to offer $50 gift cards to consumers who sign up for new Showtime
The acquisition campaign, which will run through Dec. 31, will be supported
via direct mail, direct-response television spots and radio commercials, with ad
slicks, billstuffers and door-hangers offered to participating affiliates.
In addition, a Hispanic version of the direct-mail and direct-response
advertising have been created to capitalize on 'Hispanic Heritage Month' (Sept.
15 through Oct. 15), Showtime said.
